Ideation and Creativity board game project

This collaborative board game project provided an opportunity to explore generating ideas, creative delegation, and hands-on production. Inspired initially by the mechanics of Sorry!, the game features checkpoints and action cards that propel players forward or send them back, creating a fast-paced and unpredictable experience. Additional specialty cards introduce unique challenges and instructions, adding variety and a strategic layer to the gameplay. The Shark Fight card and corresponding board spaces encourage direct player interaction, introducing moments of friendly competition and hands-on engagement that heighten the game's energy and unpredictability. These elements add a dynamic twist to gameplay, fostering connection and excitement among players.

The game is designed to appeal to a younger audience through its vibrant visuals and whimsical theme, while still offering enough complexity to engage players of all ages. Pirate and mermaid themed cards introduce fantasy elements, while colorful shark fin player pieces bring playful character to the experience. The board itself is designed as an underwater net players must escape, featuring a dynamic water background and cheerful cartoon sea creatures to enhance visual storytelling and immersive play.
