Menu Design
This redesign of the Storm Castle Menu includes two iterations using the same information and typeface pairings and two different underlying grid systems to create entirely different layouts. Through this project I established hierarchy through size, font, and leading as well as subtle geometric elements to help guide the viewer through the menu layout.
Typeface Pairings
I chose this pairing of Casablanca URW and Basic Sans. Casablanca URW brings a warm, handcrafted charm with its slightly retro letterforms making it perfect for headings or section titles. In contrast, Basic Sans offers clean, modern lines and high readability, making it ideal for body copy such as dish descriptions or pricing.
